Tibetan Butter Tea (Keto Friendly)


Trying to kick the coffee habit? This is a great alternative that is sugar free, keto friendly and is satiating. It will help with food cravings. I love this tea, because its not sweet. It is a salty savory broth-like tea. Very satisfying.


Ingredients:


4 cups of water

2-4 Tbsp of Puerh (brick tea) or Irish Breakfast Tea works as a great alternative. Use less tea to reduce caffeine. More if you are looking to have a higher caffeine kick. However, don't go over the 4 Tbsp.

1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt

1 cup of goat's milk ( I actually use 2 Tbsp of goat cheese in soy milk - blended)

2-3 Tbsp of unsalted butter


Instructions:


  1. Boil water and steep your tea for 5 minutes

  2. Strain tea in to blender.

  3. Add butter, goat milk (or goat cheese with milk option), salt

  4. Blend and serve.
