Dragon's Den...or Bedroom
As you can tell, with the decor, we decided not to go with the typical hipster pallet wood, etc. We wanted something with character, open, clean and friendly. Loved the idea of stripes. Being half blind, it was very difficult for CJ to paint the all straight on. After a couple of attempts, he gave up. He did end up with something nice though, however you can still see some of the awkward lines.

CJ's friend, Howard built the bed's platform in Florida, prior to moving the bus to South Carolina. After it got to SC, CJ's uncle finished up the front half, which is the doggy den area for our pups to enjoy.
The back half of the bed opens up underneath to the back door and acts as extra storage we call our garage.
CJ did all the rest of the wall framing, painting, etc. The mattress is a hybrid memory foam and spring mattress with a pillow top. It makes for a comfortable little nest.
