You don't have to lack in the bacon department when it comes to being vegan. These delicious Vegan Bacon Flakes are full of flavor and add that extra element to some of your favorite vegan recipes.

Quick and Easy!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of unsweetened coconut flakes

  • 2 tsp of smoked paprika

  • 1 Tbsp of organic maple syrup

  • 2 Tbsp of liquid aminos

  • pinch of salt (don't go overboard, because it is salty with the liquid aminos)

Utensils Needed:

  • Mixing Bowl

  • Mixing Spoon

  • Measuring cup

  • Measuring spoons

  • Non-stick backing sheet & pan

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 355 degrees

  2. Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl.

  3. Spread mixture evenly on backing sheet in backing pan. (don't use parchment paper, it will stick,)

  4. Bake for 6 minutes in oven.

  5. Pull the pan out and stir ingredients so it bakes evenly. Place back in the oven.

  6. Bake another 6 minutes.

  7. Take out and let cool. They become crunchy.

  8. Store in an airtight container for use. Don't refrigerate, because they will get soggy.
